Kimberli Austin v. State Texas

This is an appeal from a conviction for prostitution. Tex. Pen. Code Ann. ? 43.02(a)(1) (1989). At the conclusion of the bench trial, the trial court assessed appellants punishment at sixty (60) days confinement in the county jail, and at a fine of $200.00. The imposition of the sentence was suspended, and the appellant was placed on probation for 180 days subject to certain conditions of probation.
