Kyoto with Kids

We hope you will use this book to give you a practical approach to planning your trip to Kyoto.

The advice in the book really applies to travel anywhere in Japan, because it mostly focuses on bigger picture issues. It sets out our trials and tribulations at tackling the logistics of travel with young children.

It also details the philosophical considerations when you are going on holiday with kids, hopefully to help you answer the “why am I doing this to myself” question when you most need it. (Possibly when you are in a lovely restaurant surrounded by eighty other diners and covered in baby poop.)

This book came about from what we perceived was a lack of travel guides that focus on what is and is not feasible with children in tow. We would love to hear from our readers if there are any areas that we ought to discuss in finer detail and will most likely update this with a second edition once we go back to Japan in a few years - with a slightly older and more mobile Bunny.
