Marjorie at Seacote

The Maynards take a seaside cottage for the summer, and a kidnapping, a rival family and a lost dog fill the weeks between bathing and picnics. Carolyn Wells wrote hundreds of books, from nonsense verse to detective novels, and the Marjorie stories are her most cheerful work. The plot turns on children's justice, which is quicker and stricter than the adult kind.
