Tradition genevoise" in der Zeitschrift "Musée des Familles" veröffentlicht. 1874 wurde die Geschichte dann erstmals in Buchform in der Sammlung von Erzählungen "Eine Idee des Dr. Ox" ("Le Docteur Ox") veröffentlicht.
