Sebastian Needs a Stage

Join Sebastian in an exploration of spatial awareness and symbolic play, because STEAM is everywhere and for everyone!

Part of STEAMWORKS, a series of fiction board books for ages 0–3 that relate science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) to kids’ everyday lives.

It’s show time! Sebastian needs a stage for his performance, but things keep getting in his way! One by one, he makes changes to his room to allow him the space he needs for a show-stopping performance.

Extend the learning beyond the story with expertly crafted backmatter, including additional information about spatial awareness and symbolic play and fun STEAM activities.

STEAMWORKS features children of all backgrounds and abilities using scientific and mathematical thinking to solve everyday problems and answer questions that matter to them. Playful stories and extension activities ignite excitement for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) and empower children as thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators.

STEAMWORKS picture books are also available in Spanish-English bilingual. The Spanish-English title is Sebastián necesita una tarima / Sebastian Needs a Stage.
