ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dawn Kandekore draws on insights gained from hands-on experience as an ICT consultant teacher working at the City Learning Centres (CLC), an organisation originally funded by the UK government to provide innovative ICT learning and teaching opportunities across the curriculum. During her time at the CLCs, Dawn developed and delivered training to teachers, modelled creative ways of using ICT in the classroom, and led Internet safety courses as an ambassador for Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP). Prior to becoming teacher, she worked in industry as a Telecoms Consultant and as a Senior Analyst Programmer. Dawn is also a mother of three children.
