Winnie And Teddy Bear

During the 1960's, Constance Shore ("Connie" to her friends, but "Nanna" to her grandchildren - of which I am one) lovingly wrote and hand-painted fairy stories for her grandchildren.  These she would read as bedtime stories, and we were utterly captivated.


This is the story of two little bears called Winnie and Teddy, who have to stay at home to get on with their lessons while Mummy and Daddy visit Nanna who is feeling poorly.   “Don’t open the door to anyone” says Daddy Bear …
