When Maddie’s carefully planned life collapses — her job gone, her relationship over — the last thing she expects is to win a house in an online raffle. But when she and her best friend arrive on a Channel Island to claim the prize, they discover the house is anything but a dream: it’s crumbling, chaotic, and comes with more history (and locals) than either of them bargained for.
