A Killer in the Credits

What happens when the tides of Pine Island bring in more than just tourists? This suspenseful sequel to Murder at the Movies by Turner Classic Movies host Alicia Malone is a gripping mystery that will have you at the edge of your seat!

It's been several months since Audrey Sullivan moved to Pine Island, took over her grandmother's movie theater, and solved the island's first murder. She's trying to settle into her new life, and is excitedly planning the theater's next “big” event when yet another tragedy strikes. On what should be a quiet ride home on the evening ferry to Pine Island after a day of sourcing supplies on the mainland, she witnesses the unthinkable: a woman in a red coat fighting with a man on the deck, then falling overboard. The ferry crew searches the dark water but find nothing. With no body and no other witnesses, the authorities begin to doubt Audrey. She nearly convinces herself she imagined it . . . until a body washes ashore. Suddenly everyone is asking who is the mystery woman/victim? With whom was she fighting and why? With more questions than answers, Audrey finds herself cast back in the role of resident amateur detective. But her investigation takes a dark turn when she realizes the victim has connections to the island no one could have anticipated. As Audrey grapples with tragedy and betrayal, she realizes it's up to her, yet again, to find the answers the police desperately seek in a plot with more twists than a Hitchcock film.
