A Life in Telecom..‪.‬

Born to Dorothy and Peter in the post-war years, John is a working-class lad from Wallasey on Merseyside. He grows up with a fanatical interest in science, completes a degree and then a doctorate. After rejecting the opportunity of an academic life, he somehow manages to land a good job with Telecom but immediately faces challenges having no knowledge of telecommunications!



Written in a biographical style, this is the story of the trials and tribulations of John's eventful life, complete with wife, children and dogs! Filled with numerous anecdotes, it is amusing, informative and entertaining.
