A Refuge in the Clouds

Antonio Roselli left his family in Italy for a fresh start as a pilot in Curry, a rugged frontier town in the Alaska wilderness. Flying above the mountains gives him a taste of the freedom he's been chasing, but he can't shake the fear he'll fail the people who depend on him now, just as he failed those he left behind.

Maggie Bainbridge arrives in Curry as a new schoolteacher seeking her last living relative, an aunt working at the town's hotel. What she doesn't expect is how quickly the town, and Antonio, start to feel like the family she lost so many years ago.

When a saboteur begins targeting the resources Curry depends on to survive, suspicion spreads through town. Antonio and Maggie are drawn together in search of answers, even as danger threatens everyone they hold dear. Together they must risk it all for their new home, and for each other.

Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse collaborate in a new follow-up series to their beloved, fan-favorite Heart of Alaska series.
