A wee trip to Scotland

How far can you travel up north before you have to stop. 

John O Groats is the furthest inhabited place you can drive on the United Kingdom main land. This was our trip main goal. However to get there wasn’t just a drive like you would do from, say London to Newcastle, up the A1. Actually it is a lot longer and through all kind of  road but motorway a whole 113 miles further. I always though Scotland was a small country!
