Shawnahur has finally accepted the title from his men, and he's even become son-in-law to the king. Yet he still feels cautious in the presence of his father-in-law.
 

When the king's jealousy spills over into action, Shawnahur flees for his life, leaving behind his best friend and his wife. Alone with only his dragon in enemy territory, he succumbs to a low he never thought he would. As if the guilt wasn't enough, he's captured and taken to the emperor. His only recourse is to feign madness. 
 

With a grateful heart that his ploy worked and he escaped, Shawnahur thinks his fighting days are over until men begin flocking to him to lead. Some earnestly wish him well, others just long for a place away from the king's rule, but all long to see the dragon king as head of their country. 
 

If he's not fighting to defend his people, Shawnahur's fleeing from the jealous king, and longing for his wife to be at his side. Everything, though, revolves around him staying alive. If only the old mage's prophecy was true and Shawn could be the dragon king.
