Between Death and the Desert

Once more the forces of stasis move against Willow and Alex, this time using magic to effect a kidnapping taking them from a pleasant school trip to a war-torn desert, where fanatics kill their enemies and sometimes each other, every faction seeking to gain power, dominance and to shape a country's future. First World interest clash with, or manipulate third world power brokers and somehow the children must survive and maintain some sense of who they are and who they might someday aspire to be.
