Hettie Parke is worried. When 70-year-old Uncle Roscoe falls to his death while cleaning the gutters it's understandable that Aunt Alice would be upset at his loss, but now her behaviour is going from odd to decidedly weird. It was an accident after all. Wasn't it?

So what is she hiding? Does she have a guilty conscience? Hettie is not the only family member who is worried. If only her aunt would talk to them. In desperation, she gathers everyone for an intervention. Will they be able to get to the bottom of Aunt Alice's concerns or are they beyond what she and the family can deal with?

Now Ceefer is moping and while Hettie doesn't know why it's not the only thing keeping her awake at night. But worst of all, Sergeant Higgins is accusing them of a cover up to protect Aunt Alice and that detective is closing in.
