Birthday Presence

The thrill was gone. Both knew it. Delbert's desire for Birdie's body had changed over twenty-five years from unlimited to uninterested. Birdie had attempted dressing in sexier clothes and being more affectionate, but nothing had helped. As a last resort, she consulted her good friend, Vivian, about her Delbert dilemma. The very experienced Vivian, whose name means "Lively", had a foolproof, idea!

Stories in the Wicked Quickies series are "Wicked" (Adjective: 1. 'disgustingly unpleasant': 'VILE'; or 2. 'great', 'cool', 'splendid': 'WONDERFUL'). Which definition you wish to apply to these stories will be up to you. On the other hand, each story consists of 1000 words or less and can be read in approximately five minutes, so I believe most readers will agree they can be accurately described as "Quickies." Due to the brevity of the stories, in many cases the humorous adventure ends just before the "Climax", allowing the reader to enjoy supplying his or her own happy ending! Whatever ending you invent, I hope the details are thrillingly wicked!
