Blue Light

Black.  It was all he could see - everywhere.  As he pushed the curtains aside it almost seemed as through there was nothing outside, just a void, as if the whole house was just floating in space.  But even in space there were stars, millions of them, with a sense of belonging, a constant reminder that you were not alone.  Tonight there was absolutely nothing at all, and no sound – it felt like everything was hiding.  Stealing itself away in fear.
