Carter Country: CADE

Cade Carter's life is full to the point of overwhelming. A widower with two young boys, he works hard in his veterinary practice by day and plays harder as lead guitarist in his family's country-and-western band by night. In between, he runs herd on his sons and guards his heart against his mother's nagging to remarry, but he knows she's right. He needs help, and his boys need a mother.

Sarah McCutcheon has taken over her grandparents' old farm where she grows her own vegetables, raises chickens, milks her own cow, and makes a surprisingly decent living cooking up healthy meals for her food blog. Life on a farm can be lonely, though.

When Sarah meets Cade and his boys, her quiet days are suddenly full of fun and laughter. But does Cade really want Sarah, or does he just love her cooking?
