Descripción editorial

This is a workmen's compensation case. The employer, Seven-Up Bottling Works, and its insurer, have appealed from a judgment
of the circuit court affirming a final award of compensation benefits entered by the Industrial Commission in favor of claimant-employee
D. R. McAdams. The original proceeding was before a referee. Based on the evidence, consisting of testimony by claimant and medical reports
and records, the referee found that claimant had sustained an accidental injury arising out of and in the course of his employment
which resulted in injury to his left arm at the shoulder, and made an award in claimant's favor in a total amount of $1,670.89
based on a healing period of 20 weeks and a finding of 20% permanent partial disability to the left arm at the level of the
shoulder.
