Devils Lake

The legend says that the Devil's Lake was inhabited by devils who came out of it in the evening and caused harm to people who happened to be nearby. Also, people say that no one has ever swum across the lake from one end to the other - partly because of the extreme cold, partly because of the legend that evil fairies live in the lake and drown anyone who tries to swim across it.
