Dill’s Chalet

A mountain chalet. An avalanche. One very determined dog.

Sharon has a mountain chalet, a stubborn streak, and no patience for being told what to do. Fortunately, she also has Dill.

As her seizure-alert service dog, Dill knows keeping his human safe is a full-time job. A winter escape from Seattle should help. Then the mountain gives way, and their quiet retreat becomes a fight to survive.

Sharon needs help. The roads are buried. Dill isn't waiting for humans to figure things out.

Told entirely through the eyes of a devoted golden retriever, Dill's Chalet blends suspense, dry humor, and the fierce loyalty of a dog who refuses to abandon his person.

Book One in Bad Things, Good Dog, A. R. Shaw's adult cozy suspense series.

Previously published as Book Four in Disasters in a Jar. Dill's story now begins a series of his own.
