Distrust and suspicion were at an all-time high in 1960 between the two major super-powers, with Russia and the United States competing for space supremacy. 



This is the story of what happened when a last-minute switch on the launch pad of a Russian Sputnik changed United States history and the lives of 8 year old Ben and 6 year old Sam.



The US Government and the Russian Government will neither confirm or deny the following story. The FBI and NSA will not comment on matters of national security.
