Durango Light

Durango Light is a novel of danger and romance set in the high mountains of southwestern Colorado.


A tall, friendly man with a quiet streak of toughness. Mike Rader is new in Durango, Colorado, recently hired as the manager of The Aspen Leaf, an outdoor equipment store, and seeing a woman landscape photographer.


Life is going well for Mike until he and his climbing partner Buck have to rescue a girl from near-death after a tragic fall in the high mountains. From there, matters take a turn for the worse, as he discovers that the young woman is the local drug lord’s romantic target, and he faces a ruthless killer who wants him out of the equation. He is reluctant to use his skills acquired as an Army Ranger, but when he is literally pushed to the edge, he goes for blood.
