A lifelong student of Scripture and classical Chinese philosophy, he writes to build bridges between faith and culture—helping readers rediscover how divine truth and ancient wisdom meet in harmony. His passion for Faith Bridged arose from years of cross-cultural ministry, where he saw many Chinese seekers struggle to see Christianity as more than a “Western religion.” As founder of International Village Ministry, John leads a four-pronged outreach that is truly international: Care-giving to foreign students, Equipping through Literacy Evangelism, Connecting pastors and missionaries, and Mobilizing for global missions. Through both ministry and writing, he invites readers to see God’s truth transcending cultures and languages. A soccer enthusiast for over forty years, John resides in Norman, OK.
