In "Desperate Measures,"Bill needs money for his daughter’s heart operation. He is down on his luck and everything important in his life: his wife, his marriage, and his job are all gone. He convinces his gullible friend Mason to join him in pulling off a methodical art heist. Time is their worst enemy as they race against the clock.  

In “A Grim Ride” Adam is ready to start his life anew. After flunking college, he is disowned by his snobbish parents. He also becomes an alcoholic. He hitches a ride with a kind trucker who has a dark past that puts him in grave danger.

In “Swindle Me Not, My Dearest” James and Marlene spend the evening at Hotel de Noir. James thinks it will be a night of fiery romance, but Marlene has a big surprise for her manipulative lover. James has no idea that Marlene has a scheme of her own.
