Carla Smartly requested Megan’s help as she was about to be arrested for her husbands murder. She of course firmly expresses her not guilty verdict, assuring Megan she had actually thought about it but didn’t do it. The route this takes Megan and JJ involves them with some very dangerous mercenary soldiers who have little to lose.
Megan and JJ also pick up an unusual stalking case. Vicky Garcia is being harassed by some unknown entity, both at work and at home. The chase and discoveries puts Megan’s life in danger in a most unusual life threatening unexpected way.
