Forward Day by Day: February, March, April 2023

Inspiring readers since our first issue was published in 1935, Forward Day by Day remains a significant resource for daily prayer and Bible study to more than a half million readers worldwide.

 

Forward Day by Day is a booklet of daily inspirational meditations reflecting on a specific Bible passage, chosen from the daily lectionary readings as listed in the Revised Common Lectionary or the Daily Office from the Episcopal Church's Book of Common Prayer.

 

The meditations are rich in substance and offer a wide range of witness and experiences. Each month’s meditation is written by a different author, providing fresh and diverse messages to readers on a regular basis.

 

Forward Day by Day is published quarterly: February/March/April; May/June/July; August/September/October; and November/December/January.

Page Pelphrey is a member of Christ Church in Guilford, Connecticut, where she lives with her three children and two cats. She teaches high school world languages and is passionate about mission, community service, and finding scripture and the baptismal covenant in everyday life.

Rob Gieselmann is an Episcopal priest currently serving St. Stephen’s, Belvedere, California, and a writer also educated

in law and economics. The father of two grown children, Rob experiences God most digging in black soil or trodding well-worn paths through the countryside with his two dogs.

Kim Becker is a priest and poet of Euro and Cherokee descent who serves in North Dakota. She is a former hospice and ICU/trauma chaplain and is trained as a racial healer.
