Frost Lake Elementary

Today’s children are being prepared for jobs and careers that have yet to be created. At Frost Lake Elementary, we believe that preparing students to be successful adults in an ever-changing world is our most important job. Children need to become adept problem solvers, thinking critically, creatively, and flexibly to identify and create solutions to problems they face in their own lives, the larger school community, their city, state, and the world. They need to develop strong communication and research skills to seek and understand new information, as well as share their unique stories with global audiences. They need to be able to understand their own racial and cultural identities, along with their place in history, to assure that their voice can be heard and understood in an increasingly noisy world.
