HARLINGTON WOOD, JR., Circuit Judge. On May 24, 1985, the petitioner-appellant and a codefendant, Horace Crayton, were charged with knowingly distributing approximately one pound of a mixture containing cocaine. On June 21, 1985, a grand jury returned a five-count indictment against the petitioner and Crayton. Defendant was arraigned on June 28, 1985, and entered a plea of not guilty to all counts. Various pretrial motions were processed.
