How Much More‪?‬

In 2001 a family murder was committed that shocked the neighbourhood of Randburg to the core. Newspapers followed events and the ensuing court cases closely, but these reports covered merely the superficial facts. Here for the first time is the full story of Sharon’s murder and the difficult and protracted journey that her mother took in her walk to her own personal freedom and healing, not to mention the outcome for her grandchildren.

This book, covering only a couple of years in our lives, is my testimony about God’s enabling strength, and His never-ending grace and encouragement during a stage when life was a ‘steep climb’. There are times when you ask, “How much further, how much more can I take?” until you get to the top and are able to see a panoramic view from the summit. Life is like the climb we took up Paarl Rock, needing perseverance, encouragement from others, and the ‘spiritual chain of hope and faith’ that will enable you to make it, so that one day, we shall see ‘How Much More’ of the Lord’s bigger picture.
