About the author

Cesca Major is a novelist and screenwriter. She has shows in development with companies including the BBC, 42 and Monumental Pictures. The film adaptation If I Were You has been bought by Amazon Studies, and the adaptation of her previous novel, Maybe Next Time, was bought by Hello Sunshine and Apple Films, as well as being a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick.

Cesca has written other books under pseudonyms in a range of genres. She has been nominated for the RNA Romantic Comedy Award and the CWA Gold Dagger Award. She loves talking about writing tips on her social channels.

She lives in Berkshire with her husband, son and twin daughters.
