Tom Crenshaw is dead. The car accident that cost the beloved Turning Point Ranch patriarch his life leaves a path of destruction in its wake and the future of the Crenshaw dynasty in jeopardy.

The car accident leaves no one more broken and ruined that Jake Crenshaw, the brother who was driving his father to the hospital at the time of the crash. Jake is paralyzed from the waist down, bedridden, and in constant pain.
