This book is a compilation of our findings from our first Collaborative Action Research (CAR) project addressing the overarching question: To what extent can the iPad enhance and transform learning in the High School at the Western Academy of Beijing?
Each chapter documents a mini action research project conducted by individuals or in small teams. Each project examines the use of the iPad as an effective learning tool in the high school at the Western Academy of Beijing. Our colleagues looked at the iPad as a learning device in their subject area(s) including science, mathematics, physical education, learning support and languages.
