Kidney Cancer

Descripción editorial

The majority of kidney cancers are discovered incidentally during abdominal ultrasonography. The typical symptoms are haematuria , weight loss, fever and flank pain. Hypersedimentation, anaemia and microscopic haematuria are common findings. Surgical procedure is chosen so as to spare any functioning renal tissue. New drug therapies have also improved the prognosis of metastatic disease.
