Love's Extra Inning

Gary Taylor, Blue Claws' manager, likes the worn-out feel of his baseball cap, the predictable schedule of the season, and the comfortable distance he keeps from everyone.  He runs his ball club just like his life:  with no surprises. That all changes when the front office sends him a new athletic trainer.

Catherine Wheeler is as bright and optimistic as Gary is stubborn and set in his ways.  Looking for a fresh start she instantly falls in love with the team and the charming small town of Red Bird.  Despite her lukewarm welcome she's determined to make this work, and maybe even make a new friend along the way.   

Their grumpy sunshine clash has the ballpark buzzing, and it isn't long before the whole town is playing matchmaker just in time for the Blue Claw Ball.   Can Gary and Cat win this game in extra innings or will it be a shutout?
