Most Miserable Monster

Most Miserable Monster is a fine fellow. He's scary and not so scary. And he's not sure which is best since monsters as a rule are here "to scare us silly." He's also lonely and you would be too if you were 9 feet tall and weighed 700 pounds. I mean, how many parties are you going to be invited to? But he does have his friends, people he's helped in a fix who are happy to repay the kindness with kindnesses of their own.

This is a story (with illustrations by Hu Luofu) for young people and adults alike. But because there is a tragic event in the tale, Most Miserable Monster is not suitable for young children.
