Mr. July

I’m always happy to do favors for my grandma.

 

But when I get put on the auction block as Mr. July, it’s clear granny has gone too far.

 

Then I’m sold for five hundred and fifty dollars to a woman who just needs me to pretend to be her boyfriend…I’m down for that.

 

It’s the least I could do for a woman in distress.

 

When I kiss her, to prove that we’re a real couple, sparks fly.

 

This Fourth of July couldn’t get any better—fireworks between us and ones to watch at night.

 

The only problem is she doesn’t need my services beyond that one kiss. Okay, two. I might have slipped another one in there before she said goodbye.

 

Because I’m really hoping that last kiss will bring her back.
