Never Saw it Coming

Chandra Chavez didn't buy into the whole falling in love thing since she didn't seem to be very good at it. She certainly didn't see where opposites could attract, until the day that Mike Cavanagh set foot into Maguire's, and sat at the bar. When the seemingly lost software developer fell short on luck, Chandra, the tough and tattooed bartender, thought she was only taking pity on him by giving him handyman work. What she never saw coming, was the change he brought out in her, and her willingness to try love with someone who wasn't like her at all. It seemed too perfect until her ex-husband showed back up and threatened what might have been a perfect relationship. Then again, true love can withstand a shakeup—or can it?
