Old Car, New Idea

I get some brunch food and return to the room that Janice and I share.
Janice has emerged from the bathroom. The rest of the girls are made up as ‘girl goes to a YEEHAAAW concert.’ Janice is made up as the, ‘Princess of Hollywood.’ Janice asks me, “Well, what do you think?”
I tell my lady, “I can only wish that we were going to my company’s important party.”
Janice just glows, “You talked to the ‘Fire On The Mountain’ band leader?”
I laugh, “Just be ready for a spot light.”
Janice and I then snack on the brunch food.
The time then approaches for the mountain music show.
I shave, shower again and lay out my concert clothes.
Janice has laid out her concert clothes. Janice then fusses over her accessories. Each bauble is carefully matched with her dress and other baubles. Finally, Janice again does her make up, dons some very fancy underwear and finally puts on her dress and then the baubles. Finally, the ‘Princess of Hollywood’ is ready.
(I had my doubts that it would ever happen.)
Janice asks me, “How do I look?”
I say, “Like the leading lady, the rest of the girls are just cardboard cutouts. I may have to fight off some of the guys who will want at you.”
We walk over to the concert and Janice stars! We get seated and the concert starts.
The key band leader then introduces, ‘a song by request.’ They then shine a spotlight on Janice and me. I don’t think that anyone notices me and Janice does the ‘little me?’ thing to perfection. We then listen to ‘Fire On The Mountain.’ The song is the highlight of the show!
By the end of the evening, Janice owns Mountain Vista! She gets to pose with some of the bands. She is royalty and I’m her consort.
That night, Janice says, “I can’t believe what happened and all due to your scheming.
