Baseball comes first. Always. I doubt my big-league dreams will ever come true, but I love the game and I love my team, so I'm going to make the most of my time on the field. And no, I'm not even going to think about coming out until after graduation. Relationships are messy. And after my recent colossal breakup, I need to keep things simple.

What are the chances of running into the hot jock on campus? I can't believe my good luck, seeing Max at my new school. Although, maybe not. He's a closeted baseball person, and I'm a fabulous theater geek. We have nothing in common, and our timing is always off. I don't know if I can play by his rules, but I like him. A lot.
