Amy Suarez is a paramedic EMT, struggling to save for med school. Her relationship with Doctor Joseph Dooley is strained to breaking point, and it’s complicated by her growing feelings for his firefighter brother Patrick.


The love triangle is made even more confusing by the presence of Amy’s paramedic partner Jennifer, who is six months pregnant and carrying on an affair with one of the brothers.


While Patrick struggles to hide his increasingly bad panic attacks, and Joseph clearly has something playing on his mind, can Amy juggle her conflicting emotions while continuing to strive for her heart’s desire? Or will real life keep getting in the way?
