Peace in Ukraine

Peace in Ukraine offers a factual analysis of the diplomatic and political dynamics of the Ukrainian conflict. It deals in particular with the evolution of the negotiation process between Ukraine and Russia since 2014. It looks back at the various peace initiatives proposed by the players in the conflict, and analyzes the reasons why they were unsuccessful, as well as the elements that could be included in a future treaty. It deciphers the sometimes tense relations between Western countries, the role of the United States, the position of the prota gonists and their stakes in this conflict. 

As the war enters its fifth year, the idea of negotiation takes hold. Will the Russians and Ukrainians reach an agreement in 2026? Will the United States be able to impose its diplomatic dynamic on a divided Europe? What factors will determine a political solution?
