Peoples' Republic

Billy and Stephen escape the hated encampment they were imprisoned in, but they don't travel home together. Stephben heads west trying to get a group of kids Billy and he rescued across the Mississippi River to the new country, while Billy goes south to warn the people in the compound that the soldiers are coming for them. Both boys' lives are on the line.
Murder and chaos run wild as they fight for their freedom. Stephen becomes a spy living his life in fear of being caught and executed.
