Por algo se empieza

Nunca es fácil comenzar pero por algo debe valer la pena.


Estos collages son parte de una colección de trabajos de ilustración que fueron realizados en los inicios de mi carrera en el diseño y que con el tiempo, (mas de 30 años para ser precisos…) permanecieron guardados entre mis archivos de la memoria y la nostalgia de esos días, por lo que ahora son parte de esta nueva serie de experimentos entre diversas técnicas y sustratos como el papel de periódicos, la pintura acrílica y de acuarela, el acetato y los desperdicios de papel que se integran para dar forma a otra forma de trabajar el collage justo a la mitad de esta época donde estoy retomando lo que primero fue un pasatiempo para considerarlo una parte intrínseca de mi labor artística que aunque nunca ha sido expuesta como tal, en los siguientes meses estará en formato físico y no solo en digital.

It is never easy to start but it must be worth it for something.


These collages are part of a collection of illustration works that were made at the beginning of my career in design and that over time, (more than 30 years to be precise…) remained saved among my archives of the memory and nostalgia of those days, so now they are part of this new series of experiments between various techniques and substrates such as newspaper printed paper, acrylic and watercolor paint, acetate and paper waste that are integrated to give shape to another way of working collage just in the middle of this time where I am taking up what was first a hobby to consider it an intrinsic part of my artistic work that although it has never been exhibited as such, in the following months it will be in physical format and not only in digital.
