Portonuovo

It was the beginning of a new school year in Portonuovo.
Conrad was new in our school, new to the town and new
to all of us. He was a shy boy. He came to school for
a week and one day, and then, suddenly,
he was not there any longer.

Portonuovo is not a place for mysteries, and yet there
are so many questions and so few answers.
