Ready Reference Treatise: Legend

“Legend” by Marie Lu was first published in 2011. It is a young adult novel. It happens to be the first book of a trilogy. The other two books are “Prodigy” and “Champion.”

The book has recently been adapted in to a movie in Hollywood. When the book was launched, most of the reviews received by the author were highly positive. Most of the critics admired the novel’s fast-paced action and alternating viewpoints.

There were some critics, on the other hand, who believed that the plot of the novel was formulaic and the prose was mostly pedestrian. The third book of this trilogy “Prodigy” was published in January 2013.
