Sam's Law

When a judge gives Samantha Gibbons and Tyler Lawson the choice of five years in prison or marriage to each other, they choose marriage – although neither of them is happy about their situation. Sam is embarrassed for Law to learn how poor she is, and Law is sure the redhead will throw a fit when she learns that he lives in the apartment above the newspaper office he has come to Coyote to start publishing. Then he learns that Sam lives in a room in the livery stable. 


Sam runs away as soon as her friend Jericho distracts Law. He easily tracks her, catches her, then sets her fanny on fire for running away instead of talking about her fear. After they talk, they decide the judge must have looked inside them and decided they would suit. 


Sammy insists she wants to help Law publish the newspaper. He is grateful for the help. The big mystery is the Coyote insider, who sends an anonymous advice column to the paper each week…
