A tale of a young girl called Molly Riley, an only child to Clara and Jim. She is happy with her life on the family ranch. Close to both her parents, she thinks her world couldn’t be more perfect. Until one day when everything changes.
The death of her father makes Molly becomes more and more withdrawn, falling victim to her mother choosing to ignore her daughter’s obvious feelings of loss.
Molly is furious when her mother decides to re-marry after just a year of mourning her father’s untimely death. Unable to accept Will as her step-father, Molly takes a horse and runs away aged just sixteen.
Riding into a nearby down, Molly is taken under the wing of the saloon owner Hank. Quickly she finds herself a big hit with the men in town, soon becoming a saloon dance girl. Molly begins to enjoy her new life.
Yet still, there are dramas, difficult decisions to be made to ensure her safety, and her happiness. There is also romance and intrigue as Molly matures, becoming one of the most popular characters in town.
