Impressed by the bravery of an American writer tackling a very British institution, Sherlock Holmes, I reviewed The Case of the Ghostly Accident, but when I tried to post it strange and mysterious events occurred. I passed the matter to Holmes. This is Dr Watson’s account of what followed.
