Stick Games

It was supposed to be just a fun birthday trip to the Caribbean. Until he decided to come.


Gabriel Perry, aka Gabe the Babe. My older brother’s best friend. The guy I was in love with… until he broke my heart. 


Now, he's my nemesis. The man I loathe and still secretly… love. Ugh.


Fast forward to now—I’m the assistant skating coach for the Boston Bucks, and he’s the belligerent player who always pushes back and makes my stick games hard. 


When he suggests a ‘yes’ day for my birthday, like we played when we were kids, I can’t stop my brain from traveling a path it shouldn’t go.


But hey, when the guy who always says no can only say yes, what’s a girl to do but play a little off-ice stick game of her own? Oh yeah, I can’t wait to make things hard on him…
